NORTH PATAGONIA AND SOUTH ICE FIELD EXPEDITION

06 days expeditions travelling around: Punta Arenas to Puerto Natales or
Punto Natales to Punta Arenas

 

Our North Patagonia and South Ice Field Expedition contemplates Patagonia as part of a special program intended for virgin-nature lovers, including the Strait of Magellan, Cape Forward, Magdalena Sound, the English Passage; Pitt, Andrew, and Escape Channels , and Puerto Edén.
You can immerse yourself in the unequalled beauty of the Patagonian channels and their countless islands, many of which still remain virtually unexplored.

 

Day 1 : Punta Arenas, Chile

Reception at the port to board the Antarctic Dream. Departure at 4 pm, sailing through the channels to reach Carlos III Island.

Day 2 : Carlos III Island

Disembark on Carlos III Island, considered a sanctuary for the abundance of its flora and fauna. It is renown for whale sighting. In the afternoon, set sail northwards. Lecture on board.

Day 3 : Las Montañas Strait

During the morning sail along the fjord and disembark. Sail north and disembark during the transit of the mountain fjord. Disembark will be subject to weather conditions in one of the many bays that surround this magnificent fjord.

Day 4 : Peel Fjord

Sail to Peel Fjord, near Torres del Paine National Park which is part of the South Ice Fields. Disembark in unexplored areas to get a closer look at the glaciers. Visit to Calvo Glacier.

Day 5 : Puerto Edén

Morning arrival at Puerto Eden, typical fishing village with wooden bridges built on the shores of the channels in order to link places cut off by the water. Disembark in the village to visit. Afternoon trip to Penguin Sound.

Day 6 : Puerto Natales


Night sailing through White (or Kirke) Channel and early arrival at Puerto Natales. Farewell to the crew and disembark. Later on boarding port for passengers going to Punta Arenas.
